Arduino Primo
The Primo is the first Arduino board featuring a Nordic nRF52 processor. The NRF52 has integrated NFC (Near Field Communication) and Bluetooth Smart (BLE). The Primo also has an integrated Espressif ESP8266 to handle the WiFi connectivity.
There are several options for powering this board; micro-USB, via the Vin pin or using its 2-pin JST-PH battery connector. The board includes a Li-ion/Li-Po battery charging circuit and a battery charge indicator on the base of the board.
The Primo has three microcontrollers:
Nordic nRF52832 - main Arduino microcontroller
ST Micro STM32f103 - service microcontroller for debugging and programming
Espressif ESP8266 - WiFi and internet connectivity.
Primo Board Main Features
14 digital input/output pins (of which 12 can be used as PWM outputs)
6 analogue inputs
64 MHz ceramic resonator
micro-USB connector
ICSP header
Battery charger
Infrared receiver and transmitter
NFC antenna
BLE interface
