Keithley 2461 Source Meter
The Keithley 2461 High Current Source Meter SMU creates precisely-controlled 10 A/100 V/1000 W high-current pulses which minimise power device thermal effects and maintain device integrity. Two built-in 1 MS/sec 18-bit digitisers make it possible to acquire both voltage and current waveforms simultaneously, without the need for an additional instrument. The 2461 all-in-one instrument can be used as a precision power supply with V and I readback, True current source, digital multimeter (DCV, DCI, ohms and power with 6-digit resolution), precision electronic load, pulse generator and trigger controller. The 2461 also has a fast 'contact check' feature which helps minimise measurement errors and false product failures associated with contact fatigue, probe tip contamination, loose or broken connections and relay failures. Like all Keithley graphical SMUs, the 2461 incorporates the Touch, Test, Invent user experience which minimises the learning curve and accelerates test setup.
