Product details
Viton® O-Ring Splicing Kit
A versatile, portable kit packed in a strong plastic case, containing all the necessary items for easy and fast on-the-spot production of virtually any size of static O-ring required in sealing applications for maintenance or prototype use.
The FPM (Viton) O-Ring cord has a temperature range of -20 °C to 200 °C
After selecting the correct size of O-ring cord and cutting to approximate length, the ends are squared and trimmed to exact length using the disposable knife and the cutting and splicing jig. A drop of the special grade of cyanoacrylate adhesive is applied to one end of the cord and the two ends are then bonded together, correct alignment being ensured by the jig. After 30 seconds the O-ring is then ready for light mechanical duties.
