Sub-miniature Force Operated Joystick (Model 462)
This compact, two axis, force operated, precision joystick can be used for fingertip or thumb control and converts the input force of the operator to analogue output voltages, proportional to the applied force and input voltage. It incorporates piezo-resistive technology, first patented and used in joystick technology, by Ultra MSI (U.S. Patent No. 3454920)
One of the smallest force type precision joysticks available, with a weight of only 11g
Ideal where high precision control is required and where space is limited
Infinite resolution, easy and natural to operate and high reliability (100,000 Hours MTBF)
Epoxy sealed construction capable of sealing to IP67
Performs without loss of precision, throughout operational life
Easy to integrate into instrument panels or for thumb operation in handgrips
Ideal for computer cursor controls, robotics, medical or scanning equipment, security cameras and vehicle industrial equipment control
When affixing control knobs to joysticks, use 0.035 hex key (see stock no 609-708). Loctite 222 is also recommended to lock threads on screws (see stock no 514-509)
