Allen Bradley Guardmaster Cadet 3 Safety Interlock Switch
Improve protection for personnel and keep your machine guard door secure with the Cadet 3 Safety Interlock Switch by Allen Bradley Guardmaster.
This compact and versatile interlock switch is tongue (or key) operated and is specifically designed to be fitted on the leading edge of hinged, sliding, and lift-off guard doors. It is perfectly suited for small, lightweight guards. The Cadet 3 is electrically linked to the machines control circuit so that that the power supply is disconnected and isolated when the barrier is released, providing critical protection by ensuring that personnel cannot access hazardous areas where machinery is running.
The Cadet 3 features dual entry slots and a rotatable head, and it can offer up to eight different actuator entry points for superior application flexibility. It is easy to install and easy to mount due to the unique compact housing, which has industry standard DIN 50047 fixing centres. The switch can be operated by inserting a specially profiled stainless-steel key, which is permanently fixed to the guard door. This interlock device can also be used on small radius doors (60mm) with the semi flexible key. A blanking plug is supplied for the unused key entry.
