Waterproof connectors series 693
Waterproof connectors series 693 are a range of connectors compliant with standard VDE No. 2751, which means they can be used in instrumentation, medical applications, machine tools and robotics. They are waterproof according to standard IP 67, and their materials are flame-retardant according to UL 94-V0. Because of the materials used for the housings and the contacts, these connectors can be used in harsh environmental conditions. Crimp contacts need to be ordered separately.
Features and Benefits:
Connector housing is made from PBT, which is widely used as it provides good dimensional stability, has high strength and is resistant to various chemicals. It also provides good insulation and is a preferred choice for many electrical and auto parts. Material of contact is brass, and the plating is silver for wear and corrosion resistance, which also offers durability and an ability to perform at high temperature ranges.
Degree of protection is IP67 when mated and it offers a straight body which assist in preventing cable strain.
Additional Features:
• Screw locking system
• Screw termination
• Operating temperature -40°C to +100°C
• Up to 500 mating cycles
