Deep Groove Ball Bearings
FAG from Schaeffler deep groove ball bearings are versatile, self-retaining bearings with solid outer rings, inner rings and ball and cage assemblies. These products are of simple design, durable in operation and easy to maintain. They are available in single and double row designs and in open and sealed variants. Due to the production technology used, open bearings can still have turned recesses on the outer ring for seals or shields.
Features and Benefits
Low noise levels
Improved sealing
Lower friction
Cost-effective
Product Application Information
Open bearings are suitable for high speeds. Due to the manufacturing process, they have turned recesses for sealing washers and sealing shields.
Suffixes
2Z - Gap seals on both sides. These bearings are greased using a high-quality grease, lubricated for life and suitable for high speeds
2HRS - Lip seals on both sides made from nitrile butadiene rubber. These bearings have an improved sealing function and retention in the outer ring. They are greased using a high-quality grease, lubricated for life and suitable for moderate speeds
2BRS - Non-contact seals on both sides. Their friction level is as low as with the gap seals. In addition, they offer better protection against the ingress of dust and the escape of lubricant
2RSR - Lip seals on both sides made from nitrile butadiene rubber NBR and are suitable for moderate speeds
C - Modified internal construction in Generation C
