Looking for a more efficient power converter? This 156 W embedded switch mode power supply (SMPS for short) from RS PRO uses a switching element to regulate current supply and minimise wasted energy.
SMPSs transfer power from alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC), which is what most battery-powered device use, as well as some electronic equipment. A switching regulator is used to turn the current supply on and off, keeping voltage at the desired level.
This trusty SMPS offers high efficiency and a long working life. It comes enclosed in a compact and lightweight metal casing that has easy-access screw terminals for installation. The vented design reduces heat dissipation as well as the overall size and weight.
This product is built to exacting CE and UL manufacturing standards for safety and comes with a three-year warranty. It's passed a 5G vibration test and is RoHS-compliant for minimal hazardous substances.
