IEC Plug C14, Panel Mount Connectors
From the trusted RS PRO brand, a series of C14 appliance inlet connectors designed for rear or front panel mounting. The IEC panel mounting plugs feature standard 4.8 mm x 0.8, 6.3 x 0.8 mm Faston terminals or PCB for rapid connection. A basic soldering iron is all that is required, making termination or repair seamless. Once the desired cut-out is made, these IEC C14 connectors simply push into the panel and are retained securely. Constructed from a durable black Nylon 6 FR V-2 material, the RS PRO is extremely robust and hardwearing. These RS PRO series of IEC inlet connectors are ideal for new designs, maintenance and repair.
What are IEC C14 Connectors?
An IEC C14 connector is sometimes referred to as a cold connector. The IEC panel plug is a 3 wire two pole connector, neutral, earth and live. The C14 male connectors have a rated current of 10A and a maximum temperature rating of 70°C. This series of connectors conform to a recognised set of specifications called IEC-60320. The regulations are laid down by the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission). This ensures they meet common global design standards.
