Product details
RS PRO IRT1900 Digital RCD Tester, 500 mA Trip
RS PRO IRT1900 is a great value digital RCD (Residual Current Device) tester which incorporates a custom microprocessor for highest accuracy and reliability. Its casing is made from modern plastics for resilience to everyday knock and bangs. This instrument is designed for indoor use and up to a maximum altitude of 2000m.
Residual Current Operated Devices are usually fitted in electrical installations to provide extra protection against electrical shocks and fire. In order to safety check these RCDs, various tests need to be carried out. The RS PRO IRT 1900 tester is a great test equipment device which can perform these checks.
Features and Benefits:
- Rated Tripping Current 10 / 20 / 30 / 100 / 300 / 500 mA
- 3 LEDs for checking correct wiring status
- Large digital display for easy viewing
- Automatic lock out if test resistor overheats
- 0° and 180° phase angle switch permits quick tests and consistent readings
- Visual indication of reversed phase and neutral wiring at socket
- Digital read out of tripping time
- Resilient case for protection
- Dimensions 180 x 130 x 70 mm
- Weight 800 g approximately
Typical Applications
An RCD tester is a protective device that instantly breaks an electric circuit to prevent series harm from an ongoing electric shock. RCT testers are widely used by electricians for electric maintenance and installation.
