Product Details
Convert the end of a one-inch pipe thread to a 3/4-inch pipe thread with this RS PRO reducer fitting. The reducer's male side screws into the female thread on the end of a one-inch pipe, allowing a 3/4-inch male threaded pipe to be put into the female side. This means you can transition from one standard to the other quickly and easily. When fitting the reducer, the octagonal shape on the outside makes it simple to hold.
Thanks to the reducer's bronze construction, it's safe for use with domestic water supplies, including potable water. It also provides good corrosion resistance for use with seawater. You'll commonly find it used in applications where the pipe size needs to be reduced in office or domestic plumbing.
