RS PRO Synthetic Bag Filters
RS PRO Synthetic Bag Filters are used widely in government buildings, hospitals and other sensitive areas. This grade of filter is suitable for the air filtration and conditioning of offices, theatres, computer rooms and spray booths. These bag filters are manufactured by mounting the 100% polypropylene synthetic media into a galvanised steel header frame.
Efficient mechanised manufacturing techniques deliver cost effective filtration. Hydrophobic media allows great performance in damp atmospheres. Rolled safety edge to prevent the filter material from being cut and to ensure the safety of installation engineers. Extra built-in pre-filter layer which provides extended filter life. Ultrasonically welded pockets to provide highly reliable leak free seams.
Features and Benefits:
• Cost effective filtration
• Hydrophobic for damp atmospheres
• Leak free seems
• Polypropylene and non-toxic / non-irritant
• Available in varying sizes
How do air filters work?
Used in heating, ventilation and air conditioning, HVAC filters are generally made of gauze like material. This provides a small passage for air to flow through whilst also stopping larger particles. Standard air filters are designed with efficiency in filtration, as they collect debris and dust. Some more complex filters remove odours and feature a charcoal element. Preventing debris from entering a ventilation, cooling or heating system is vital in ensuring longevity as foreign objects in these types of systems can cause them to overheat and cease functioning.
Why change HVAC air filters?
If these types of filters are not properly attended to, they can become clogged. This can prevent air flow possibly causing the system to overheat and can eventually lead to equipment break down or fires. Changing air filters regularly is vital for health and safety and a HVAC systems longevity.
