Keithley 2000 6-Digit Multimeter
The 2000/E is a fast, accurate, highly stable, affordable and easy-to-operate instrument. It combines broad measurement ranges with superior accuracy specifications: DC voltage from 100 nV to 1 kV (with 0.002% 90-day basic accuracy); DC resistance from 100μΩ to 100 MΩ (with 0.008% 90-day basic accuracy). For greater flexibility, a built-in card slot found on the rear panel allows an extra multiplexer card for multi-point measurement applications.
Additional capabilities of the Model 2000 include:
Full range of functions: functions include period, dB, dBm, continuity, diode testing, mX+b, and percent.
Programming languages and remote interfaces: offers three programming language choices (SCPI, Keithley Models 196/199, and Fluke 8840A/ 8842A) and two remote interface ports (IEEE-488/GPIB and RS-232C).
Reading and setup storage: up to 1024 readings and two setups (user and factory defaults) can be stored and recalled.

High Throughput
The 2000 offers exceptional measurement speed at any resolution. At 6 digits, it delivers 50 triggered readings per second over the IEEE-488 bus. At 4 digits, it can read up to 2000 readings per second into its internal 1024 reading buffer.
Creating a self-contained multipoint measurement solution is as simple as plugging a scanner card into the option slot on the 2000's back panel. This approach eliminates the complexities of triggering, timing and processing issues and helps reduce test time significantly.
High Measurement Flexibility
The 2000 has 13 built-in measurement functions, including DCV, ACV, DCI, ACI, 2Wohm, 4Wohm, temperature, frequency, period, dB, dBm, continuity measurement, and diode testing.
The frequency counter function can make accurate signal measurements up to 300 kHz, eliminating the need for a separate counter.
High Reliability
The 2000 conforms to rigorous standards governing safety and reliability, including UL-1244, CSA, IEC-1010, FCC and VDE. A 1000 V input rating guards against accidental overloads, and the instrument recovers from overloads in milliseconds. It can accommodate 1500V from high-to-earth for added protection and increased reliability.
