Use this RS PRO solder receptacle with a spring test probe to ensure that your devices are operating safely and accurately. By keeping the probe separate from the receptacle, you can more easily replace damaged or faulty spring test probes without disturbing the wiring, allowing you to continue testing uninterrupted.
For ease of use, the receptacle can simply be push-fitted into the mounting plate. This provides an airtight seal without the need to use adhesives, keeping the probe free of any debris or contaminants that could result in inaccurate test results.
Solder receptacles and test probes can measure a range of criteria, including voltage, current and resistance to temperatures. You'll often find them used with automatic test equipment, where fast testing of multipoint PCBs (printed circuit boards) and sub-assemblies is required.
